9x42 chicken coop for 22 chickens

Chicken coop overview

The 9’x42’ Cluck Canyon chicken run definitely lives up to its name with gorges of room for the chickens to run. As a matter of fact, inside the protected wire-meshed aviary is 342 sq. ft. of room to explore and the coop provides another generous 36 sq. ft. for nesting and roosting. It can accommodate up to 22 chickens, and it’s perfect for those who are looking for large-scale poultry and egg production. The aviary and coop are both protected by a sheet metal roof and full-sized doors for access. A nice little window over the nesting box provides fresh air and light for the coop. Solid pressure-treated 4”x4”s add superior structural strength to the structure, and the lean-to roof design sheds water to the back. The Cluck Canyon is a professional series, and it can be doubled in size by reversing the coop to the opposite end and adding another unit to the left end wall.
